What does an interior designer help with?

Not at all. Interior design and decorating services can be helpful whether you’re starting from scratch or simply need help finishing a space. We can work with elements you already love and determine what changes will make the biggest difference.

Can you help me choose paint colors?

Yes. Paint color has a major influence on how a room looks and feels. I can help you choose colors that coordinate with your flooring, furniture, lighting, artwork, wallpaper, and other existing finishes so the entire space works together.

Can you help me choose wallpaper?

Yes. Wallpaper can introduce pattern, texture, color, and personality into a space. I can help you consider wallpaper options that complement your room and overall design, and Namaste Design & Painting also provides professional wallpaper installation.

Can you help me decorate using furniture and pieces I already own?

Absolutely. You don’t necessarily need all-new furniture and decor to transform a room. We can look at the pieces you already have, determine what works well in the space, and identify where rearranging, editing, or adding a few new elements could create a more cohesive design.

What's the difference between interior design and interior decorating?

Interior design generally considers the overall function, layout, finishes, colors, and visual relationship between elements in a space. Decorating focuses more heavily on the furnishings, artwork, accessories, textiles, and finishing touches that give the room its personality. Depending on your project, you may need help with one or a combination of both.

Can you help me if I don't know what my design style is?

Yes! You don’t need to arrive with a specific design style or perfectly developed vision. Part of the process is identifying the colors, textures, furnishings, and spaces you’re naturally drawn to and using those preferences to develop a direction that feels like you.

Can you coordinate painting, wallpaper, and interior design?

Yes. One advantage of working with Namaste Design & Painting is the ability to consider your walls as part of the overall design. Interior painting, wallpaper, color choices, furnishings, and decor can be planned together to create a more cohesive finished space.

Do you offer interior design services for just one room?
